Q: How does this app work?
Fairytrail is the world's most cozy travel buddy app for digital nomads, remote workers, and vanlife travelers. Over 50,000 nomads, remote workers, and travelers use it to find friends and adventure.
Tap Explore (the leftmost tab) to view profiles. On Explore, you can search for travelers by their current country, upcoming destinations, and more by tapping the DJ icon in the top-right corner. Send connection requests to people you find interesting. If both of you send requests to each other (a mutual match), they’ll appear in your Messages tab.

Q: Can I limit my search to people nearby?
Geographically, you can only search for people based on current country and upcoming destinations. The reason is as nomads and travelers, we're always moving. It would be wrong to assume location. Also, with our 50k userbase, the feature would not be very valuable because you won't find many users nearby.
That said, there's strong and growing interest in this feature and we will launch it once we hit 100,000 users. Help us grow by leaving a friendly review on the Play Store or App Store. And following us on Instagram.
Q: What is care?
Care is a cozy way give and receive support while on the road. There's not enough time to be friends and travel with everyone but you can easily bring a smile to someone's face.

Q: Is Fairytrail free?
Fairytrail has a free plan. We also have premium plans with more features and benefits. You may be asked to verify your profile by our algorithm based on your app usage and behavior. If you can't afford to verify, reach out to us for other options.
Q: Do I need to pay to make connections?
On the free plan, you make connections by sending connect requests from the Explore tab (leftmost tab). If they also send you a connect request, you'll be connected to chat. The premium plans allow you to instantly reveal connect requests which help you find connections faster.
Q: When do I receive notifications?
If you have notifications turned on, you'll get a notification when someone wants to connect with you, when you've made a new connection (match), and when you receive a message.
Q: Can I see people I skipped?
You'll be able to see people you skipped after 4 weeks. There's also an undo button on the top left corner on the Explore tab.
Q: Should I skip people I don't have time to talk to now?
It's best to connect. Just liked on LinkedIn, you don't need to message your connections all the time.
Q: Is Fairytrail for dating?
Our main focus is helping nomadic singles, couples, and families find new connections for travel adventures. We hope Fairytrail will be more fun and less stressful as a travel app to find like-minded friends.

Being remote can be isolating, but it can be super fun with the right people. We believe great relationships are vital for health and wellbeing. Fairytrail helps nomadic people build new connections.

Trail because we love hiking. Fairytale because our world is full of beauty and magic.
